Raising Money for Amyloidosis during March 25 on our Wellbeing Walks

During March 25 with the 1st of our walks, we will be donating all money raised for our walks to this charity in memory of Daphne Ralph, a special local lady who sadly passed away earlier this month.

We are raising money to help fund the research and treatment for Amyloidosis ,a condition in which amyloid proteins build up on organs like heart, kidney and liver. Amyloid is an abnormal protein, and its deposit on the organ can eventually damage them.

If you would like to donate directly to the charity you can do so here, and all funds raised on our walks during March 25 will be donated here too. Thank you

Walking 50km Ultra Challenge (11 hrs) April 12th 2025 for Air Ambulance Charity Kent, Surrey & Sussex

The Air Ambulance services are becoming more required now than ever before and rely on 88% donations from the public including fundraising events like I will be doing in April 25, to provide the critical services they do at those most worst and scary times for the patient.

Seeing them in action first hand when a neighbour required this a few years ago has stuck with me and just how incredible they are and vital their services are. It makes me realise that living in the rural areas that we do, and also the places that I walk, in the middle of forests and awkward places to get to by vehicle, you just don’t know when their assistance will be required for any of us, therefore we need to keep supporting them which is why I have chosen this charity this time to raise money for. I will be walking for approximately 11 hours, 50km around Windsor and the Thames Path on April 12th 2025 and if you can please support me in anyway possible, however small, we together will be making a difference to others in their need .

Walking the 200 Mile Sussex Hospices Trail

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I have set the page up do what I can for the amazing hospices that we have in Sussex which offer amazing support to families and children in need. Alongside walking the wonderful 200 mile trail set up by the Friends of Sussex Hospices, I have decided to make this walk a memorable walk with a real reason in raising as much awareness and funds that I can for the 12 hospices in Sussex that they work with. Sussex Hospices Trail

Friends of Sussex Hospices, a charity run entirely by volunteers, supports the twelve hospice care providers serving the adults and children of Sussex. Since FSH began, 30 years ago, they have distributed £3.6 million to our Sussex Hospices.

My walk is set to take on the unique trail which covers 200 miles and is divided into 26 parts which I will be taking on each Tuesday over the next 20 plus weeks ( I have already walked parts 1 – 3 and after a visit to Chestnut Tree House and seeing the wonderful work that they do for the children and the families inspired me to walk not only for my own personal journey but to walk for others.

If you would like to support my journey then please donate to this page. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Vickis Annual fundraiser for St. Wilfrid’s Hospice (Chichester)

Moonlight Walk 2024

St Wilfrid’s as a local charity who we never know if we will need when it comes to our end of life. They provide tailored care both in the Hospice and community and my way of supporting this local charity is to take on their 10 mile Moonlight Walk around Chichester during the night to raise awareness and money for this incredible charity ❤️

If you can support in anyway, your donations made to them make a difference to all those going through their end of life, something experienced so recently ourselves xx

Walking 50km (31 miles) in honour of 4 inspiring ladies who battled cancer

Fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support

Easter 50 Ultra Challenge 2024, on 6 April 2024

I’m Walking 50km (31 miles) in April 24 for 4 inspirational and amazing and super strong ladies who have undergone battles with cancer, injuring real pain and even in their darkest hours they remained strong and encouraging to others in their cancer journey.

Its for them, who have shown such strength that I’m undertaking another Ultra Challenge, and although after the suffering I had walking my last Ultra it is nothing in comparison to what these wonderful ladies and others have undergone.
